The Transporter 1-3

Alright I have recently picked up for my collection all 3 Transporter films So I will give a quick review for each 1.

The Transporter, This film was amazingly unique. This film is about a guy (Jason Statham) who is a "Driver For Hire" aka a Transporter who will transport anyone/anything for a right price and he has certain rules that he doesn't break. But when he decides to break one of his rules to help out someone in need He ends up finding himself in something a lot deeper than he thought. I loved this film for it's for lots of originality as well as it's awesome Action/Fighting scenes .

Transporter 2: Jason Statham returns as Frank Martin, a professional "transporter" who delivers packages without questions. Set in Miami, Florida, he chauffeurs a young boy who is soon kidnapped, who Frank tries to save. Now for this one It very unique among sequels in the sense that despite being a sequel it still delivers an unique storyline and lots of action. The second Transporter went for a bit more "over the top" action scenes than the 1st one which seemed to grounded a bit more in reality.

Transporter 3: The film continues the story of Frank Martin, a professional "transporter" who has returned to France to continue his low-key business of delivering packages without questions. Now this one is a bit more low key on the action and is more suspenseful. If u liked the 1st 1 but hated the second one you will, no doubt love this one.

Funny People

Alright I finally got around to seeing Funny People with Adam Sandler, I think that this is is best film yet! This film had the perfect blend of Drama and Comedy (a Dramedy as I like to call it) After seeing Don't mess with Zohan I was pretty skeptical about this film fearing that it would be more crude than funny, but thankfully this wasn't so. While the film does get pretty crude at parts It does a good job at backing of to still make the funny parts still funny. Adam Sandler and Seth Rogen's performances were really outstanding. As well as really good supporting performances form Eric Bana who is almost unrecognisable gearing him in his native accent (Australian) I think that Sandler deserves an Oscar nod for his performance in this film. This film also has a great soundtrack with songs from George Harrison and John Lennon.

Life Stinks

Here is the review of the 1 and only Mel Brooks film I have not seen nor do I own. Y haven't I seen or own this is because the film is out of print and isn't one of his better known ones so therefore it is not on TV a whole lot and really freaking hard to find on DVD! Anyway this film is Mel Brooks' only his second original comedy (the first being The Producers) as far as what I thought of the film: It's pretty good I thought it was better than most critics gave it credit for. Albeit it his no way his best work but on a whole Not bad! If u r a really big Mel Brooks Fan like me than I'd say it is definitely worth picking up (if u can find it and if u do let me know where) But for the casual Movie goer the film is definitely worth watching but if you are in the mood for Mel Brooks film you could definitely do better such as Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein.

NEW DVD: Enter the Dragon

I will also be reviewing movies that I pick up on DVD. This is the first of such posts.
Enter the Dragon
This is one of the greatest films ever made! The reasons are many. For me I especially like the choreography for the fighting scenes and it also shows off Bruce Lee's great talent.
This film also marked Jackie Chan's first screen appearnce (he was one of the stunt extras in the film)

Sherlock Holmes

So I have seen the new Sherlock Holmes w/ Robert Downey Jr. I'd have to say that it is absolutely brilliant! I though that Downey delivered 1 of his best performances in decades. As far as the story goes I though it was the most accurate interpretation of Holmes according to the books ever! I really liked how they made Holmes a Martial Artist and if u have read the books it makes perfect since that he is 1 because Doyale said that he (Holmes) was and Excellent fighter and had been to the "Orient" several times. I also liked how in this film Holmes and Watson actually seemed like they were like Brothers on how close their friendship is. This film is definitely worth seeing more than once and is also worth owning on DVD/Blu Ray when it comes out
